Principle of Operation
Fogging & Misting dust control process works on the principal of misting. The dust particles released from the material being handled (conveyer points, screens, above and below crushers, and dump areas) are exposed to an environment that contains massive quantities of very fine water particles. These dust particles mix with the water particles, increase in weight and fall back to their source of origin. The percentage of water added to the material is extremely low as only the fugitive dust gets affected. Our systems control efficiency can be in excess of 95% depending on the application.
A spray nozzle is a device that facilitates the formation of spray. When a liquid is dispersed as a stream of droplets (power atomization) it is called a spray. Spray nozzles are used to achieve two primary functions which include:
- Increase liquid surface area to enhance evaporation
- Distribute a liquid over an area
This is called Mist Power Atomizing Nozzles. The mist power atomizing nozzles are commonly used for dust suppression, die lubrication, spray coating, moisturizing & humidification and dust control.
Spray nozzles have three basic functions:
