Pipe Lines & Mist Atomization Nozzles
We manufacture a wide range of Pipe Lines & Mist Atomization Nozzles that is in compliance with the standards of the industry. The pipe lines SS 304 seamless pipes of Indian standard with outer diameter of 14 mm and inner diameter of 11 mm. In addition to these, the nozzles are fitted at customized equal distance throughout the pipe line as per the requirement of the application area.
Construction:
It is an apparatus for applying suntan lotion including a liquid tight enclosure of generally cylindrical shape. The upper wall portions are tilted inwardly to form a central neck enclosure. A door at the side walls of the enclosure is spring biased to the closed position. Lotion mist ports are disposed about the interior of the enclosure and supplied from a lotion distribution tube which in turn is supplied from at least one atomizing nozzle. A pump is installed for pumping the liquid lotion from a supply dispenser to the atomizing nozzles.
Working Methodology:
- As the lotion is pumped through the atomizing nozzle, it is formed into mist droplets which are communicated to the distribution pipe & further, to the mist outlets in the chamber
- The droplets contact the body of the person in the chamber & are applied to the skin
- A re-circulating pump is provided for evacuating the misted droplets & re-circulates them into the distribution tube by means of an impeller fan.
- Lotion which may condense inside the impeller is stored in a used lotion recovery reservoir. The pump and motor which drives the pump & impeller fan is operated by token operator control located outside the enclosure.
Principle of Operation
Fogging & Misting dust control process is based on the principal of misting. The dust particles released from the material being handled (e.g., conveyer points, screens, above and below crushers, and dump areas) are exposed to an environment that comprises massive quantities of very fine water particles. This environment is similar to very wet fog. The dust particles mingle with the water particles, increase in weight, and then fall back to their source of origin.
The percentage of water added to the material is extremely low because only the fugitive dust is affected. This controls the efficiency of the system that can be in excess of 95% depending on the application.
Why use water for misting & fogging systems?
We make use of efficient dry collection systems that is highly expensive and is applicable only to sources that can be enclosed. Filter fabrics have limitations with heap of material in a pile and the disposal of filters \ fabrics often produces secondary emissions. Water spray systems are the most efficient and cost effective means of dust control for process and fugitive dust emissions. This is due to the simple fact that the dust remains with the product of origin, while it is being disturbed.
Dust Suppression Technology
Proper control of fugitive dust from surface material handling systems (dumping, conveying, screening, crushing, and storing) is a matter of concern among designers and operators in many industries such as mining & minerals processing, wood products, chemical, and power generation.
Dust is created across these industries due to many operations. In most areas, the control of dust is mandatory for federal, state, and/or local regulations. The enforcement becomes more rigid and the penalties imposed for operating without proper dust controls also becomes risky. Keeping in mind the cost of a regulatory fine along with the enhanced work environment, the dust control process becomes an investment in safe operations.
